Canaima under the Storm
This is home for me. I’ve been in Canaima a couple of times and I always feel the need of going back. This is the heart of Venezuela, the deep jungle close to the Amazon, where the tallest waterfall in the world takes the water directly from the clouds to feed our biggest and richest rivers. This time, the rainy season was in its zenith.
Building The New York Times
I spent over three years covering the construction of Renzo Piano’s New York Times headquarters in New York. The goal was to produce an interactive time-line showcasing video interviews and photographs, explaining the process of building a skyscraper.
My team and I visited the site every few weeks to document the different processes. I directed the project, produced the videos and photographed the site. I took more than eight thousand photographs, so it was really hard to get to these twenty. You can see a video of the final piece here.
